PhotoGraphic Services

Mission

The mission of the Photographic Services Department of Claire T. Carney Library is to provide high quality photographic and videographic services to the staff and faculty of UMass Dartmouth.  The Department takes pride in helping to promote the University, communicate its messages, and enhance its reputation.  Photographic Services accomplishes this by providing images and video for the University’s web site, fundraising, recruitment, conferences and the presentation of scholarly and academic work.

About

Offices for the Library Photographics Department have been relocated during the Library Building Renovation Project to the Mezzanine floor of the library within the Archives & Special Collections department. Enter the area from the Archives entrance that faces the center of the campus.

The resources of the unit are limited; therefore, services must be provided on a first come, first served basis. Production lead time may be several days or several weeks, depending on the complexity of the project and the number of other projects in process.  Scheduling your projects well in advance will facilitate their timely completion. For last minute projects or those beyond the production capacity of the unit, we may recommend the use of external vendors.

Questions?

If you have any questions about the capabilities of the unit or the scheduling of a project, please send an email to Photographics
